2009 Gold Medal Award Concerts

This year, the top five performers in each Award Concert will receive a crystal piano and cash award. First, second, and third place winners will each receive $100, while fourth and fifth place winners will each receive $50. These prizes are in addition to the awards they will have won from the competition events.

In addition to our Gold Medal Awards, we have another special prize. One concerto contestant will be chosen to perform a movement of a concerto with the Temple Hill Symphony Orchestra, John Pew, Musical Director. The winner will also be awarded a cash prize of $100. If the winner cannot perform on the dates specified by the Orchestra, a runner up will be selected to receive the cash award and performances.
